Q. Am I protected by warranty if I don’t activate my Bayer Protection Warranty?
A. No. You are only covered by the Limited Kordon Product Warranty, which covers you if the Kordon Termite Barrier has been proven to fail. The Limited Kordon Product Warranty doesn’t cover you if termites enter and cause damage by working around the outside of the barrier. Q. Am I still eligible for a Bayer Protection Warranty if my warranty has expired?
A. You may still be eligible; however, this will depend on whether there was any termite activity during the period you were not covered. You must have an inspection as soon as possible. Your warranty renewal will be at the discretion of your Bayer Accredited Timber Pest Inspector and Bayer.

Q. What is the cost of inspections and renewals?
A. The cost to renew varies between state and inspection company. You can get an idea of cost here.

Q. What happens to my warranty if I don’t renew my Bayer Protection Warranty?
A. Your Bayer Protection Warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of activation or renewal. Any homes protected by Kordon up to a period of six years from the installation date will default back to the Limited Kordon Product Warranty if not renewed.
